A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos inicia nesta quarta-feira (17) a aplicação de fresa de asfalto na Rua Ari Barroso, no Jardim Santa Lúcia, região leste da cidade. O serviço deve durar de um a três dias.

O trabalho está na fase preparatória, com a passagem de máquina para nivelar o solo e compactar a via. Em seguida, começa a etapa de aplicação da fresa.

Serão 3.000 metros quadrados de aplicação de fresa na rua. O material vem sendo extraído dos recapeamentos das vias públicas na cidade. Essa iniciativa sustentável vem ocorrendo desde 2017, pois diminui a emissão de poluentes.

O trabalho vai atender um desejo antigo dos moradores da região leste, já que a fresa reduz a poeira nas ruas não asfaltadas e proporciona mais segurança e conforto aos motoristas e moradores, pois o material possibilita maior aderência aos pneus dos veículos.
