A população sorocabana pode participar, na próxima semana, de 22 a 26 de janeiro, do Festival Literário “A Voz Sorocabana”, que ocorrerá na Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger”, localizada no Alto da Boa Vista, em comemoração à Semana do Livro (última semana do mês de janeiro) e ao Dia do Escritor Sorocabano (24 de janeiro).
Realizado pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), o Festival Literário “A Voz Sorocabana” tem como objetivo estimular a leitura, incentivar a produção literária, além de homenagear os escritores da cidade pela sua contribuição com a formação cultural de Sorocaba e região.
A programação gratuita contará com lançamento do livro, contação de histórias, roda de conversa, exposição, oficinas, teatro e troca de livros.
A Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger” está localizada na Rua Ministro Coqueijo Costa, 180, no Alto da Boa Vista.
